Hey, nerds, guess who has two thumbs, speaks limited French and is now mostly on tumblr? This moi.

I'm mediocrechick over there too but dear lord, do NOT follow me unless you're prepared to be bombarded with one direction, One Direction, ONE DIRECTION, ONE DIRECTIONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN.

I'll be posting here too from time to time but not nearly as much as I used to - I think I'm mostly using LJ to check a few comms here and there so......

Remember the time when I used to update this journal like every day.

In other news, I went to a Frankenweenie screening last night. They were giving out these mask things so that was cool. It's a pretty good movie - definitely not for children (the end scene was grim and dark and like nightmares-for-life-yo). The attention to the details was amazing - you could see the individual mushrooms on their dinner plates, for pete's sake! (≧◡≦) The children are hilarious and bad puns all over the place.

ALSO: the lady who was sitting in front of us decided that it was socially acceptable for her to take off her shoes and put up her feet. I wanted to throw up.

So I just watched my first episode of Parks and Recreation...and while I still can't stand Rashida Jones, I really like this show.

Expect for me to use this particular gif a lot...

This is my life: I was trying so hard to decide if I wanted to see Psy (of "Gangnam Style" fame) or The Killers at Jimmy Kimmel.

Psy or The Killers?

The Killers?

I'm waitlisted for The Killers.

I should have gotten tickets for Psy... *blerg*

Just read the People magazine article about Blake Lively-Ryan Reynolds's wedding and this is what I've learned:

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds had the most clichéd wedding ever.

I literally rolled my eyes over every other sentence.

If anybody is interested, I'll scan the article for you but seriously, I was like this while I was reading it...

So a week ago, some random Scottish actor started following me on Twitter (I still have no idea why but I'm assuming it was because I live in L.A. or something? IDEK) so I started following him too just for shits and giggles. I've learned two things about him: 1) his short movie (the only one he acted in so far I think) won some no-name award at some no-name festival and 2) he loves to hashtag (#like #really #REALLY #likes #to #hashtag #a #lot #of #stuff).

BTW, just so you know, I have a really massive work project due next week and I'm just starting it. I've had like a month to work on it.

Speaking of which, quick question for y'all: you know how Chicago is known as the "Windy City", New York the "Big Apple", Paris the "City of Lights" etc...etc..., are there equivalents of that for London and Las Vegas?
